E’ Flipside il nuovo singolo di Norah Jones, raffinata cantautrice statunitense che nella sua carriera ha collezionato ben 9 Grammy Awards. Il brano arriva in concomitanza con il lancio del suo sesto album di inediti Day breaks, rilasciato lo scorso 7 Ottobre, Il disco vede l’artista tornare alle sue radici, alle atmosfere dei suoi maggiori successi Sunrise e Don’t know why, avvalendosi della collaborazione di vere icone del jazz, tra cui il sassofonista Wayne Shorter, l’organista Dr. Lonnie Smith e il batterista Brian Blade.

“Questo nuovo album mi riporta alle origini e alle mie radici, segnando una vera e propria chiusura del cerchio. Dopo il primo disco mi sono allontanata dal pianoforte per un po’ di tempo e pur suonandolo ancora ero maggiormente ispirata dalla chitarra per le mie composizioni. Suonare il pianoforte in questo disco mi è veramente piaciuto”.
Dodici brani in scaletta, tra cui nove inediti e tre cover di Horace Silver, Duke Ellington e Neil Young.
